Thoughts for the day: More food?

They opened in Mid Valley awhile ago, they just opened in Sunway Pyramid, and they have one other one in 1Utama. What is that????

They have some feedback thing going on in the Mid Valley branch.


I gave them a GOOD =)
The place is actually quite moderately small for such a restaurant. We sat at the unique round table~~

First up, drinks (as usual)

They have a good variety. Green tea in different styles also. Of course we didn't try out, cause there's other stuffs~


Traditional green tea in teapot.


Honey and Banana Smoothie. Tastes a bit.. weird. Oh well~~


Watermelon juice? Or something like that. Tastes like watermelon lor.


This is... erm.. I forgot.. But it looks cool XD It's a mixture of various things.
No.. I din taste it, but mum says its nice. There's an apple inside 0.o
That's it for the liquids~ Now on to the food!!!!


Pasta with Unagi and Egg!!! Smells and tastes fantastic~


Spicy Unagi Pasta.. Spicy-ness reminds me of dried chillies.


Pasta with beef! A moderate dish it is.


Pasta with chicken and semi raw egg at the top
*which u break and it becomes the gravy* =D


Scallop & smth pizza. The best thing about these kinda restaurants (Japanese and western fusion) is the pizza is soooo nice =)


Lastly, the caterpillar!!! This tastes good as well.
That's the end of the restaurant intro. It's a nice place to eat good food.

Conclusion: Good place! Gotta try it if you have the bucks to spare =P

Thoughts for the day: A long overdue post XD

Well, due to recent happenings, I haven't been able to blog about the stuffs I am supposed to blog about. (e.g. exams...exams...anxiety...tooth...)

However, I have recovered partly and am now in the state to resume my blog!!

Let's start off with one post by one post =D Firstly, let's start off with the FOODS

Today I shall introduce to you DIN TAI FUNG 鼎泰豐~:


The set up~

There's one located in Gardens Mid Valley, at the LG of Gardens side. They can get quite packed.


They have a HIStory!!! Read it when you're waiting for your food! Helps XD
They're famous for the 小笼包, xiu long bao (dumplings with soup inside), and I love them!!!!!


They even have a COMBO SET!!!! *note: they sell different types*

Look at the insides~~~ It's the same as the normal one =P


This is soya bean plus tong yuen (汤圆） Sesame in it =D Delicious =D


This is a noodle for the healthy people... or not~~

Saw the pictures? Good.. Now for the main review..

Small dragon pao, xiu long bao, is undoubtedly very very good no matter which insides. =X

The rest? Those posted on the above pictures are all delicious XD

Let's just say I haven't found any food that I had ordered that requires complaints. Furthermore, they have xiu long bao dessert XD

Conclusion: Those who love xiu long bao can try this out =D

Next in the line, is to say that, I have ordered my Dell Studio 1555 and it has yet to come...
So, the review will be postponed till 26th of June, which is my estimated delivery date, and I ordered it on June 3rd.

Those who wants to buy Dell studio 15 from Malaysia, expect a delivery date of longer than 7 working days that is posted on the website. That conned me!! Oh well, at least the sales person was very good. The name's Daniel. Giving him credit cause he helping me do all sorts of changes and advices.

I ordered a backpack and a wireless mouse offer package for RM143 from Dell as well. I don't know how worth it is that, but I need those, I think. Preferred wired mouse, but the offer comes like that.

K... maybe I got conned again... ZzzzZ

Thoughts for the day: English need not pass

What the hell??

I thought Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was finally making a correct move by making the English paper in SPM a "MUST PASS" paper. Today I logged onto The Star Online and saw that "Many Object to making English a 'Must Pass' Subject".

Wake up whoever who opposed this. National schools no longer teach grammar?? Without grammar where is English? Without tatabahasa, BM is just... Bahasa Pasar.

So tell me, why should BM be a "must pass" and not English. With my experience, I don't think I need to use any BM in any areas of study as opposed to English, after SPM. In college, in Uni, everything's in English!! The only times I use BM is when I communicate with those who speaks BM, and even then they don't use proper BM.

With that point in mind,

"Muhyiddin said students were now merely learning communicative English.
“This means they are picking up the language for communication purposes only,”"

I think you need a better command in English to write a very well-versed report in assignments, and in turn, BM should be for communication purposes only. This I say by taking REALITY into consideration.

Wake up Malaysia!!! You're not going anywhere without a good command of English!
It's also been said that 70% pass the English paper, so what is the matter of making it a "must pass"? And honestly, the English paper in SPM is stupendously easy!! Ask those who have an average command of English. Ask those who speaks English in their everyday life. Ask those who sat for the SPM papers!!

Who are those that opposed =.= Why do you oppose =.=
Think out of your little world... Oh right... You can't read English... I better translate everything to BM eh.. but sorry, at least people around the world will be able to read this~!

Thoughts for the day: Ministry of Food production

Introducing another restaurant! Now at the heart of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.


Family went out to buy me clothing to be brought over to Aussie. We saw this huge Restaurant beside "Pepper Lunch", opposite "Pastamania" at the Food Republic floor of Pavilion. So we decided to try out.


Here's the dessert stop!!!
Well, between the first and the second pictures is the entrance to the restaurant. It's a Chinese restaurant that blended Japanese style. But the food are non-Japanese flavoured. Just the style.

For example the table:

The table is very practical in that customers don't need to be given Menu. They can look at the menu any time they want just by reaching out for it!!

Then introducing the drinks. We only ordered two drinks of the many~~


BLACK SESAME SHAKE!!!! Tastes... delicious XD


MOCHA... float?? Looks... beautiful *_*
Both the drinks have "whipped-cream-like" stuff, but they're not whipped cream. They're 100% ICE CREAM!!!!! Both drinks are good =D They have a good variety of "not frequently seen" drinks here. I can drink till I'm bloated~~

Done with the drinks, we proceed to... food~!


They call this 坤隆包.. I think.
Flavours inside the bread. =) I think it was ok.
Then we ordered dim sum. The dim-sum's the same as the restaurants other place, but...


This Chicken Glutinous rice (罗米鸡) looks cute on the "Japanese styled" plate.


This is also dim-sum.. I think... You know what... I just realised I didn't eat this at all =.=
Other than Dim-sum, there was noodle and rice:~

This is the Hot-noodle.
Added 2 bucks to get the steamed egg there at the top of the picture. That steamed egg contains 肉碎(minced pork).

Well... not like I'm expecting much from soup noodles =P

Sigh... I missed out on the dessert cuz I was too full. T_T The desserts look... yummy~~ If any of you come here, please order the dessert and tell me how it tastes like =D

All in all: It's a nice place to dine in, but since it's in Pavilion and it's such a restaurant, don't expect to protect your wallet/purse/creditcardlimit~!

So... a few days back.. I came back from a long day at Uni and discovered something my mum left on my table. 0.o

Ahhh... Monash's mail to me. Quite bulky.
Open it up... and the contents... ~~~~


There's a letter.. a brochure saying what can't I take into Australia.... and a "Handbook for International Monash"
OOOOOOO.... I'm set for Monash dy!!! For now.. it's just the accommodation that is lacking. Need to find it... and fast!! See!! Kaylx is excited too XD Ain't it cute? =D

The handbook seems like a very useful book. At least it helps me keep track of important stuff that needs be done before, during and after studying in Australia.

I've been watching this series. Those who are very updated about HK dramas should very well know of this drama 巾帼枭雄, or called Rosy Business. It's another successful TVB production. XD


The story revolves around a rice baron's family. Although I think the main character is 柴九. It starts off exciting and thrilling, and ends off... well... let's leave that for you =D

Set in Qing Dynasty, I think, tells the tale of one rich family, and various characters that bear different kinds of attitude in it. Where there's big money, big business and big responsibility, there's dispute, hatred and jealousy. A lot of plotting, smart movements, as well as funny idiotic actions!

This is one of the best drama ever!! Well, for now that I'm done with it, I'm saying I had a good time watching it till late 3am and waking up at 8am. Terrible experience!! Haha..

Oh well.. Exams are soon. And a note to my readers, my first laptop shall be here next week. I'm looking forward to it =D Decided to grab the Dell studio 15 ba =)
