Thoughts for the day: Restaurant review on Gonbei
So.. the question:
What is this Gonbei? Where is it? Can eat de ar?
Well known Japanese Buffet --- Jogoya
That sophisticated looking ala carte Japanese restaurant --- Gonbei
There's the intro. Now we proceed to... PICTURES~!!
The Grand Entrance!!! Looks... unique~~
All different alcohols! Really cool collection they have...
*I like the arrangement*
The middle is ice. Sorry, a bit blurr.. was walking while taking photo =X
The seats and tables that we are all so used to!
ITADAKIMASU!!! Wait... order first!
Our Ocha (Green Tea)!! One tea pot only. Tsk tsk..
Half of the food that we ordered.
*I took this picture after we began to eat... cause... IT LOOKS DELICIOUS~!!*
My own portion of food. I ordered Unagi set. It's quite a lot actually.
(Set comprises of Unagi, Tempura, Sashimi, 2 soups, 1 steamed rice and 1 dessert)
Part of the set, traditional miso soup.
Also part of the set, clear soup with nice to eat stuff in it. It's sweet =D
Conclusion: A treat you must give yourself and your family! Food's great! Quantity's big! Quality's better! Better choice for "not-big" eaters instead of Jogoya! Enjoy people!!!
*Update* About the price, I'll say average 100 bucks, there are food that are 80 bucks, and also food that are 250 bucks. That kind of range. You pay for the better quality of food!!!
So.. the question:
- Ok.. Probably those of you who loves eating in Jogoya knows of this other big big restaurant opposite Jogoya.
- Those who had never been/heard of Jogoya, well... There's two ridiculously enormous Japanese Restaurants at Starhill.
